Detection of short-circuits in the rotor winding
It is estimated that 50% of the Generators worldwide may have one or more short-circuits between the rotor winding coils. The current situation of the electrical system and its impact on the operating conditions of Electrical Generators, characterised by a high thermal cycle, favour the appearance of short-circuits in the rotor windings.
